About

ApexLab Play started as a group chat where a few of us kept sending each other links to mobile games we couldn't stop playing. At some point the recommendations got too good to keep private, so we built a small site around them. Everything here is written after we actually finish a session, not after skimming a store page.,We lean toward fast stuff: racers, arcades, casual pick-up-and-play titles. But we don't ignore a solid RPG or a clever strategy game when one lands on our phones. The rule is simple — if it grabs us, it gets covered.,Choosing what to review is mostly instinct plus a checklist. We look at how the controls feel on a touchscreen, whether the game respects your time, and if it's still fun on day three. Games that only feel good in a trailer get dropped fast.,Nobody here is paid by a studio to say nice things. We buy or download games ourselves, play them properly, and if something is dull we say so. That's the whole point of the place.
