Skybound Relics drops you onto a chain of floating islands and mostly leaves you to explore. You climb, glide between platforms, and piece together what happened to a world that broke apart. It's gentle, curious, and beautiful to look at.
The controls handle surprisingly well for a 3D game on touch — a virtual stick plus a couple of context buttons that never got in our way. Gliding across a gap toward a distant ruin is the kind of moment that makes you forget you're on a phone.
There are light puzzles and hidden relics to find, but no pressure and no timers. We came back to it again and again just to wander. Easily one of our favorites in the catalog.
